On the shores of Lake Naivasha where hippos roam the night lies an enigma. It is at once a luxurious log cabin and then a tented banda all in one.

While very hotel in Naivasha is differently unique in its own way, Crescent Camp stands out for the experience of camping above the ground, right up with the chirping birds nestling in the acacia trees towering over the tents. As a kaleidoscope of birds fly above occasionally taking diving into the swimming pool to cool off in the sweltering heat, it is easy to get lost in the wonder of nature.

While at the camp you can take a guided walk through nature trails and see many unique plants, birds and animals.

Some cows come to the lake to graze and with them the attendant white egrets that keep them tick-free.
